Security Consultants Offer Free Help To Charities and Non-Profit
Organizations
TORONTO, September 29 /PR/ - Informatica
Security has taken the lead in an initiative to help non-profit
organizations protect themselves from information security and privacy
threats.
Informatica president Claudiu Popa introduced the
NPO Assistance Program: “Charitable organizations don’t
have the time or the resources to protect themselves adequately.
They’re busy doing good deeds with limited resources. We’re
doing our part by helping them understand security threats and introduce
adequate defenses.”
The NPO Assistance Program includes critical services
that cut the risk to data confidentiality and asset security: free
consultations and discounts, training workshops and guidance on
compliance, policies and business continuity.
On Friday October 1st, the company published a white
paper on the Emerging Challenges of Information Security for Non-Profit
Organizations. This document is available for free in the White
Papers Area. For more information about the Program email NPO@InformaticaSecurity.com.
Informatica welcomes independent security consultants wishing to
offer their services.
